Insurance products and funeral service/burial items are both available from Risima Funerals. The policyholder must be at least 18 years old to apply for any of the products, and dependents must be at least 74 years old and extended family members must be at least 84 years old.
Risima Burial Products
Products from Risima Burial allow customers to create personalised packages that can cover themselves, their immediate family, their dependents, and even their extended family (parents, aunts, siblings, etc.).
Since one can cover all of their loved ones under a single policy, the plans are intended to relieve you of the burden of worrying about how you or your loved ones would be sent out.
The policyholder may choose to add five (5), nine (9) or thirteen (13) dependants to their extended member coverage. The dependants may be immediate family members, dependents, or even extended family members up to the age of 74. Extended family members between the ages of 75 and 84 may also be covered by the policy holder.All burial policies include body pick-ups for a 100-kilometer radius around the storage location. The top-up value amount offered on all burial products can be used to cover the cost of repatriation for all burial products starting at 101 kilometres. Any sum over the top-up value for repatriation will be covered by the family.
Only within the province of Limpopo will funeral services for all burial products be held (see to policy document). Funeral services performed outside of these boundaries will incur additional fees for the family.
